About Us

Veterinary surgeon Dr Laura Perez Fernandez. Director at Time2SayGoodbye.

Dr Laura Perez Fernandez

Dr. Laura Perez Fernandez graduated from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2020. After gaining experience in day practice for a year, Laura moved to the UK to further develop her skills in emergency and critical care. It was during this time that Laura discovered her true calling — helping owners go through the challenging process of saying goodbye to their beloved pets in a compassionate and dignified manner.

After realising that she could dedicate her career to providing exceptional care for both pets and their owners confirmed that this is the path she was meant to follow. Laura is currently studying to complete the CAETA Peaceful Euthanasia Certification and, while working in the emergency clinic, was honoured to be nominated for Vet of the Year by Petplan.

Since then Anna has worked in emergency and critical care which is where she met Laura and the Time2SayGoodbye team was formed.

Anna has been there to support many clients in times of loss over the years so can offer empathy and understanding at the time you need it most. She can answer any questions you may have and help guide you as delicately as possible through the process.
